Juris Doctorate 1994 Louisiana State University School Of Law Bernard Hampton has successfully represented clients in family law cases, including child custody, child support, spousal support, community property, marital property agreements, adoption, and protection from abuse cases since 1994.  He received his bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University, and is a graduate of Louisiana State University School of Law.

Mr. Hampton has keen insight into the special emotional stress, turmoil, and concerns which often surround the break-up of a family or situations involving children who are in danger.  Whether physical safety, financial security, property interests, or issues of trust are at stake, Mr. Hampton has extensive experience, and can effectively communicate what steps need to be taken.

Practicing in East Baton Rouge, Livingston, Ascension, West Baton Rouge, East and West Feliciana, Jefferson, Orleans, Tangipahoa, St. Helena, Lafayette, and many other parishes, Mr. Hampton has vast courtroom experience, having conducted hundreds of contested hearings and trials.

In addition to his family law practice, Mr. Hampton also handles wrongful death cases, personal injury insurance claims and suits, misdemeanor and felony criminal matters, and successions and wills.
